FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Common questions from prop masters, directors, indie filmmakers, and content creators using our Canadian prop currency.
Are these legal to buy and use in Canada?
Yes. Our prop notes are 100% legal to purchase, own, and use for theatrical productions, media, TV, film, music videos, and training. They are designed in strict accordance with the Bank of Canada’s reproduction rules. Attempting to spend them as legal tender is a federal crime.
What is the difference between “Full-Print” and “Filler Stacks”?
Full-Print Stacks: Every single note in the 100-bill pack is dual-side printed with high-detail prop artwork. Ideal for fanning, bill counting, and macro close-ups.
Filler Stacks: Contain a top and bottom printed bill with thick blank parchment interior notes. Ideal for bulking out briefcases and background staging cost-effectively.
Does the money feel like real Canadian polymer?
No. Canadian law strictly prohibits reproducing the tactile synthetic polymer and genuine optical diffraction holograms of legal tender. Our notes are printed on high-density non-glare linen paper engineered to look 100% genuine through the lens while remaining non-counterfeitable by touch.
Can I film with prop money in public locations?
When filming outdoors or in public view (e.g., street scenes or park shoots), we strongly recommend informing local municipal film offices and non-emergency police dispatch in advance to prevent public panic or misunderstandings.
How fast can orders be delivered to my set?
Standard orders dispatch within 24 hours. For urgent soundstage deadlines, choose Canada Post Priority or UPS Express at checkout for 1–2 business day delivery across Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal.
